These Mine Sentences were placed in swamp areas in North-Western Germany and underground water reservoirs in Israel.
The sinking of the mines and the recording are related to activating the hidden underground layer - an essential principle of the Liquid Desert project.
The Mine Sentence is one of the core chapters of the project, which in essence deals with the archaeology of the collective subconscious. The third Mine Sentence / The Lake of Void was sunk and placed on the ceiling of an underground bunker at the center of Lake Bant in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

Sculptural Process / Recording Time
The sculptures were all made of clay and carefully coded with the Hebrew letter. The tracks of sound, which have been inserted into the mines, were manually drawn and follow an original track that has been recorded for seven years in the South of Germany’s Black Forest. Currently active in the Black Forest nine different Recording radii of different trees, which refer to various historic landmarks.
