Sculptural Process / Recording Time
The sculptures were all made of clay and carefully drawn with the images of the swamp in northern Germany, as reflected by the artist’s eye.
The clay pots contain: a smaller clay pot, and a black metal box.
Within the metal box, there is a rolled manual drawing of Sound Data / Tree from the Southern Black Forest in Freiburg, Germany.
Two years ago, I was invited to participate in a group exhibition that was held in the park adjacent to Schlossgut Schwante, Germany.
This castle was built in 1743 and is located about an hour and a half’s drive from Berlin.
Following comprehensive research of the area of the castle and its sensitive historical context, I decided to expose and propose the first Field Sentence, dealing with the Archeology of The Unseen, which constitutes an important core chapter of the Liquid Desert project.
