The Pomegranate Orchard
A series of large-scale landscape paintings were scattered throughout the gallery. These works depict nature in its raw, elemental form - fragmented, disconnected, floating, and devoid of physical weight. The drawings functioned as mental maps, reflecting both personal and collective structures of consciousness.
Installation view
The drawings were based on seismographic recordings derived from original sound impressions. These sound recordings were made by the artist at her parents' home over a period of 16 years, using specialized equipment without her family's knowledge. The recordings served as the foundation for the drawings themselves.
The exhibition explored the swamp and the forest as key metaphors, symbolizing fundamental consciousness.
